Mission

Bunch Library is dedicated to collecting and preserving materials relating to the history of Belmont University and its forerunners: Cumberland University, Tennessee College for Women, Ward Seminary, Belmont College for Young Women, Ward-Belmont School, and Belmont College. These materials are housed in the Belmont University Special Collection. The collection also contains Belmont University publications, such as yearbooks, catalogs and bulletins, Belmont Vision (student newspaper), award-winning papers, and Master's and Honors theses. In addition, scrapbooks and memorabilia donated by alumni may be found in the collection.

Policies & Regulations

  • All patrons must make an appointment with the Reference Librarian in order to access the archive.
  • All materials are non-circulating.
  • Pencils are available from the librarian. No ink please.
  • Food or drink is not allowed in the archive.
  • Copies may be made with approval from the librarian. Copies are 10 cents a page.
  • Some items may be scanned. Scanning requests may be made to the Reference Librarian and will be done by library staff.
